Terms & Conditions

By accessing or using the AfricaProperty Rwanda platform ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

AfricaProperty Rwanda reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

You agree to use AfricaProperty Rwanda only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent property listings.
• Impersonate any person, agent, or organisation.
• Use the platform to spam, harass, or defraud other users.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or platform systems.
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce content without written permission.

All property listings submitted to AfricaProperty Rwanda are subject to admin review before publication. By submitting a listing, you confirm that:

• All information provided is accurate and up to date.
• You are authorised to list the property (as owner or authorised agent).
• The listing does not infringe any third-party rights.

AfricaProperty Rwanda reserves the right to reject, remove, or modify any listing that violates these terms without notice.

Registered agents on the Platform agree to:

• Provide accurate professional and property information.
• Respond to enquiries and visit requests promptly.
• Comply with all applicable Rwandan property laws and professional standards.
• Not engage in discriminatory practices in property transactions.

AfricaProperty Rwanda may suspend or terminate agent accounts that breach these responsibilities.

Property reservations require a 10% security deposit (capped at RWF 6,000,000), processed securely through Flutterwave.

• The deposit confirms your intent to purchase or rent the property.
• Refund eligibility is determined by the property owner/agent and the terms agreed at reservation.
• AfricaProperty Rwanda is not party to any property transaction and is not liable for disputes between buyers and sellers.
• All payment processing is governed by Flutterwave's terms and conditions.

All content on AfricaProperty Rwanda — including logos, branding, design, software, and platform content — is the intellectual property of AfricaProperty Rwanda.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written consent. Property images and descriptions submitted by users remain the property of the respective owners.

AfricaProperty Rwanda is a property marketplace and does not act as a real estate agent, broker, or party to any transaction.

We are not liable for:

• Inaccuracies in property listings provided by agents or sellers.
• Losses arising from property transactions facilitated through the platform.
• Interruptions to platform availability.

Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid to AfricaProperty Rwanda in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
